Specialist Periodontist & Implant Surgeon
Specialist dental care for anxious & complex patients
Calm, evidence-based treatment in implants, gum disease, oral surgery and sedation — for patients who want real expertise, and colleagues who want their patients in safe hands.
In Mark's Words
My role is to provide calm, evidence-based analysis and clear treatment planning — solutions designed not just for today's problem, but for long-term health, function and stability.
I am a specialist periodontist and implant surgeon with a clinical focus on full-arch rehabilitation, peri-implant disease, sedation-led complex care, and predictable long-term outcomes. Some patients come because their case is straightforward but they want a higher level of expertise. Others arrive after previous treatment has failed — when gum health is unstable, implants are compromised, or anxiety has become a barrier to care.
Alongside my clinical work I lead the NanoHealth mission — a translational programme exploring the future of medicine through biosensors, nanotechnology, AI and predictive health systems.

For Patients
Why patients choose us
People come to us because they want to feel safe, listened to, and guided by someone who understands complexity, anxiety and the importance of getting things right. From the first conversation the aim is simple: reduce fear, explain clearly, and create a treatment pathway you can trust.
The manner is deliberately unhurried — nothing rushed, nothing oversold.
- A clear, unhurried first consultation
- Sedation options for anxious patients
- Honest costs and timescales, in plain language
For Clinicians
Why professionals refer
We welcome referrals from dentists, doctors and wider healthcare colleagues who want their patients seen promptly, treated with care, and communicated with properly — with patients returned after the agreed treatment phase unless otherwise arranged.
- Straightforward referral pathway
- Timely reports and shared decision-making
- Patients returned to you for ongoing care
Patient Stories
Measured by the experience of our patients.
The most meaningful measure of success is how people feel afterwards — comfort restored, confidence returned, lasting results from careful planning and compassionate support.

Common questions
Before you get in touch
Do I need a referral to be seen?
No. Patients are welcome to enquire directly, and we also accept referrals from dentists and doctors. If you self-refer, we may ask your dentist for relevant records so we have the full picture.
I am very anxious about dental treatment. Can you help?
Yes — a large part of our work is with nervous patients. We move at your pace, explain everything before it happens, and can offer conscious sedation so that even longer or more involved treatment stays calm and comfortable.
Will my own dentist stay involved?
Almost always. We treat the specific issue you come in for, then return you to your regular dentist for ongoing routine care, with a clear summary of what was done.
How much will treatment cost?
Costs depend entirely on what is needed, so we give a clear written estimate after your first consultation — before anything is agreed. There is no obligation to proceed.
